The European Union and the Dutch government have introduced new rules for single-use food packaging and disposable cups containing plastic, the Single Use Plastic legislation. The aim is to reduce the use of these single-use containers by 40%, making reusable packaging the norm. With the introduction of the Pickwick hard cup we meet the market’s and government’s demand to reduce single-use plastic and take a step towards JDE Professional’s sustainability ambitions. The Pickwick hard cup is made from 100% recyclable polypropylene, produced in Germany from European raw materials. The Pickwick hard cup will withstand at least 400 wash cycles in a professional dishwasher.
